Why do you think people get involved in Politics?
Born to it. It is expected that they follow the family lead.
Need to Change. People/Groups want to change the law.
For the good of all. People/Groups think a change would benefit everyone
Status in Society. To be thought of as an upper class member of society.
Greed. Able to extract personal gain exceeding normal salary.
