Patrick Secker

Representing Barker since 1998

Patrick Secker is my local member of federal parliament. He has been re-elected to this position since 1998.

I have contacted him via telephone on a few occasions in the past. Unfortunately, I think, he portrays what is typical of most “party” politicians.

When Mr. Secker is in Government, he is totally unyeilding towards any concepts that go against his liberal party politics. In opposition, he withholds all support for even “common sense” government policy.

Mr. Secker was recently appointed the party role of “Opposition Whip”. He said he was “proud” of being selected for this position.

He also said that taking on this party role of “Opposition Whip” wouldn’t impact on his ability to represent the people in his electorate.
